From the Editor's Desk
Welcome to 2013. After the slowdown that we saw last year, I am
hoping that we will have a much better year ahead of us. There is a
saying that is: "May the worst part of the new year be as bad as the
best part of the last year". I am certainly looking forward to this
becoming true.
Follow my Twitter feed (@RFIDMan) for more current RFID, IOT and AIDC news and

There have been numerous standards related to RFID published or
revised in 2012 and the work is continuing. The first international
meeting for RFID standards will be in April, but there are many
standards out for ballot as I write this issue of the newsletter. If
you want to participate in the work to create or update standards
then contact me to talk about your options. High Tech Aid offers
various services that allow you to be involved without tying up your
company's resources. If you want more information on ISO standardization or on any issue of RFID standardization, then email steve@hightechaid.com.
